Course objectives (competences):
Use of English language regarding scientific terms
Taking responsibility of own actions.
Taking part in scientific and interdisciplinary disscusion panels while having a professional approach

Course content:
a)       Specific mathematical terms and science terms
b)      Lexical and morphosyntax elements (words, nouns, words having greek or latin origin, adjectives, verbs – infinitive, gerund, sentences)
c)       Basics of scientific writing: making notes, writing in paragraphs, comparison, giving instructions, writing letters, types of application, writing a curriculum vitae (CV)
d)      Verbs: modal verbs, active and passive voice
e)       Most common rethorical forms of scientific communication: description, chronology, classification, giving arguments, analysis, synthesis.
f)       Writing abstracts
g)      Additional activities (individual and group projects)
