Course objectives (competences):
Expanding and deepening laboratory knowledge and skills while encouraging creativity in solving chemical and practical problems.

11.

Course content:
Chemical laboratory and laboratory equipment; Chemicals: classification, storage, compatibility rules, safe storage and disposal of chemical waste; Laboratory operations: heating, cooling, drying, work with gases, fractionation, measurement in the chemical laboratory and other laboratory operations (stirring, grinding, etc.); Selected laboratory techniques for microscale experiments; Experimentation: design of an experiment, student projects and student research.

Teaching methods: lectures, seminars, laboratory classes, problem solving, learning through the completion of seminar papers, reading articles, books, engaging in discussions and independent exam preparation.
